Caroline Heiberg studied English and Piano Performance at Texas A&M University. Experiencing the unique challenges of caregiving and dementia with a family member inspired her to further her undergraduate studies in nursing. In subsequent years, she has worked in direct care and care management for those living with dementia, hospice, and other cognitive disorders. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults through addressing community needs and improving access to resources. Outside of her professional pursuits, Caroline can usually be found enjoying the outdoors; climbing, camping, swimming or biking.
