Jae Flores

Jae Flores (they/them) became a part of Covenant Presbyterian Church’s Audio Visual Team in 2023 and has enjoyed immersing themselves in the incredible fellowship and community Covenant has fostered and continues to grow.

A graduate of Texas State University, Jae obtained their Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. In their time at Texas State University, they developed a strong passion for civic duty and community advocacy for marginalized groups and individuals.

With a deep love for community organizing, service initiatives, and advocacy building, they began their journey in Event Programming in Student Affairs in Higher Education, assisting with organizing retreats and university-wide events for diversity, equity, and inclusionary efforts for underrepresented students. Desiring a greater calling towards intersectional advocacy, they found a newfound home and family at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

As they further their experience in Event Management and Audio Visual Support, they dedicate their time to serving Partners of Covenant Presbyterian Church, including the Live Oak Singers LGBTQIA+ Choir and Fiesta Youth, providing Audio Visual Services for community meetings, events, and services as a freelance contractor.
In their free time, Jae enjoys learning about the deeper meanings behind life, personal development, music and film production, and creative pursuits. Additionally, they love volunteering for nonprofit and community service events and are always excited to travel to unique places. They are a proud Ma-Pa to two cute fur babies, Jeylani and Ollie.
